Caille de Pere (Cajun French for "Father of Spots") is an ideal stallion
prospect. He is a near Few-spot Appaloosa that is confirmed
Homozygous for the Black color gene (EEaa). He will be a 100% color
producer and cannot produce a red foal. Pere is 100% Appaloosa and
is Foundation (FPD) eligible (ApHC #653229).
He is being raised with a veterinarian guided health program,
maximizing nutrition, de-worming and vaccination. Because he will be
sold as a stallion prospect he has been vaccinated against EVA.
Pere was partially imprinted and is being ground trained by Clinton
Anderson's methods. He has progressed well with ground training
and stands well for the farrier. Pere has a gentile temperament and is
very easy to handle. He appears to be most comfortable when he has
a companion. As his name implies, this stallion will be a 100% color
