The purpose of the Cheval Caille Ranch is
twofold:
1) The production of the finest foundation
Appaloosa breeding stock.
2) The production and starting of Appaloosa
and Appaloosa-outcross athletes.
Our primary outcrosses (F1 generation),
should be highly intelligent, responsive and
easily trained.

We plan to sell our foals imprinted and
started by the methods of Robert Miller,
Chris Cox and Clinton Anderson.  Although
we are more familiar with the Western
equine sports, the athletic horses we
produce should be suitable for finishing any
equine sport.

All our horses are EVA negative and the
mares are kept current on their vaccinations.

Cheval Caille (pronounced "Cheval Kai") is
Cajun French for "spotted horse".  Our ranch is
an Appaloosa breeding and foal starting
facility.  We are a small operation, with two
broodmares, but through artificial insemination
we have a wide range of sires from which to
choose.  Through careful selection for superior
traits, we strive for foals with the  greatest
potential for performance and color.

Beaux, our only foal for 2009.  He was fully
imprinted so is quick with training.  He w
ill be kept
as a stallion prospect.
Mai is our 2008 foal.  She has shown herself to be very
athletic and easy to train.  She will be sent out to be
trained as a cutting horse after she turns 2 years.
